Bosnia and Herzegovina is a small country in the South-East, which has now suffered from civil war. Due to the destruction of more than half the country's factories, Bosnia and Herzegovina does't have a thriving economy. In the mountain area the predominant activities are cattle breeding, timber harvesting and cultivation of fruit trees, especially plum. Revenues from tourism are becoming increasingly important for the economy.
