Each city in Finland has something unique to offer for visitors. Despite its seemingly untouched nature, Finland is not a backward country. In fact, it is considered to be one of the most hi-tech societies in the world with Internet connections per capita exceeding the U.S. and the UK.

Helsinki is a blend of urban culture, modernism and tradition, with international companies like Nokia and Jewellery Lapland. The Tuomionkirkko Cathedral was built by Carl Engel and is a mixture of Gothic revival and the Russian Orthodox Church. Tampere is the largest city here you can visit the Central Museum of Labour and the Vapriikki Museum. Theaters and shows ranging from music to art and literature make this city a cultural center, and most tourists visit first the Pyynikki Ridge Central Market, the Cathedral Pispala, the Pyynikki observation tower and Nasinneula.

In Turku, Finland's former capital, you can visit the Cathedral with the Museum of History, other museums and The Turku Castle. After the visit you can stop at refined restaurants and in clubs. Here for Christmas they organize shows, parties, etc.. There are 11 museums in Vaasa and an amusement park, Wasalandia, for those who want to have fun.
